2014 has been a great year for Leeds. Le Tour was kicked off in style back in July and the recent hit BBC drama ‘In The Club’ was filmed around the City and has been commissioned to film another series here in 2015.
Leeds City Centre offers a great backdrop with stunning buildings such as Leeds Town Hall, the beautiful Georgian architecture around Park Square and the modern offices at One City Square. It is also in close proximity to the beautiful scenery that Yorkshire has to offer.
Obviously being based in Chapel Allerton, Leeds we are ever so slightly biased about how great it is! If you do happen to visit then we have a few inside tips on the best places to eat.
Jade recommends going to the Everyman Cinema and ordering the amazing pizzas which you can eat as you watch your film – genius!
Louise didn’t need to think twice about her recommendation – Salvo’s in Headingley. It has been a favourite for (too) many years and their gluten free pizzas are delicious.
Ellie’s favourite is fancy French restaurant Kendells Bistro, it is her go-to-place for a perfect evening. Lauren loves The Reliance. It always has a great atmosphere and a good night is guaranteed.
We are spoilt for choice for locations in Leeds but we have selected a few of our favourites below.
Location 2244 was recently on the cover of Real Homes magazine and it is easy to see why. This stylish family home has had a contemporary extension to the rear which leads out to a large decked area.
Location 2222 is a large detached family home with a real wow factor. It has a high spec interior with a fantastic open plan flow.
Location 2417 is a stunning Georgian house that has been converted into a delightful family home. With an abundance of light, airy rooms to chose from it is a great location.
