We help the TV, film, photography and creative industries to find and manage the perfect location for their shoot, as well as offering bolt-on services to meet all of their production needs. Whether a client is looking for a comfortable family home, outstanding architectural build, industrial mill, commercial office or even a football stadium, we go above and beyond to help clients with our personally handpicked, shoot-ready location library. In addition, we help clients produce their shoots as well as offer a bespoke scouting and location manager service.

You will be supported and encouraged in your role, with lots of opportunity for self-development, training and will naturally learn all the fundamentals of the photography, film and TV industries along the way.

A passion for the film/TV/creative industries, along with an interest and understanding of buildings and interiors is also desirable for this role.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Junior Account Manager will be an integral part of the client services team, dealing with and managing client enquiries via the telephone and our email system. Your talent for listening, questioning and interpreting briefs will allow you to send location options that will delight the client. Understanding their requirements, vision, timescales and restrictions will allow you to successfully manage the end-to-end process fluidly for not only the client, but for our location partners as well. You will build relationships with both client and location partner contacts to further enhance the renowned reputation UK Locations uphold within the industry.

The role will require you to efficiently manage all aspects of the enquiry and booking process, which includes speaking to our location partners to check their availability, negotiating fees for all parties, producing recce schedules, creating and sending out contracts using our electronic system, confirming the shoot, liaising with finance to issue invoices, getting feedback and managing post shoot queries. Our customer relationship management system will help you along the way and, when used effectively, enable you to do your job to the highest level on an ongoing basis. Your hands on approach to managing your workload will ensure you achieve your KPI’s and support the wider team in achieving our monthly targets.

Although mainly office-based in this role, there will be occasions when you will go out on location to assist with recces, support location partners on shoot days and sometimes be on hand for the client as an extension of their crew. On some occasions your work will go beyond the normal hours and you will need to have a flexible approach to this.

TASK

For each location suggestion, please explain to Joe Smith why you have put it forward and how it works for the brief.

LOCATION ONE – A family home

Must have:

  • Needs to be within Yorkshire

LOCATION TWO – An architectural, residential location

Must have:

  • Large living room
  • Areas of feature glazing
  • Minimalistic styling
  • In the North West of England

If you are successful in the above, you will then move onto the second stage where you will be asked to complete another task and present your ideas to the UK Locations Board of Directors. An interview will also take place at this time.
