The Benefits of Walk and Talk Meetings in Lockdown

In lockdown, as a team we’ve collectively been feeling low from solo working, zoom calls, homeschooling and the general mundanity. We decided to put walk and talk meetings into action and we’ve seen huge increases in happiness, productivity and the general wellbeing of the team.

An article by The Harvard Business Review suggests that the act of walking leads to increases in creative thinking. This certainly supports the usefulness of walking meetings. Plenty of anecdotal evidence also suggests that walking meetings lead to more honest exchanges with employees and are more productive than traditional sit-down meetings.
