Features & Styles

  • Period Features

Martins Bank is our most grandiose and most magnificent building.

As a grade II listed building, the building inherits good-old-day’s glory and maintains to be a stunning landmark of the city. You’ve possibly witnessed its incredibleness in several famous TV dramas and films such as ‘Peaky Blinders’, ‘Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them’ and ‘The Bullion Boys’.

The whole style is old-fashioned, classical and period. Through the entrance, the flamboyant lobby instantly manifests itself. Columns, arches, ornate engraving along ceilings, these tasteful elements are perfect backdrops for all kinds of period dramas or films.

One of the most charming characteristics is the various tones of different spaces within the building; quaint colour and tame tones enrich the style of the whole place, however, some rooms could be dressed into a totally different plot as well; the underground facilities have a potential to be transformed into a prison.
