Nothing. We don’t charge for our Location Partner package – we invest in our partners because we truly believe they’ll be successful film locations. We only succeed when you do.

We’ve been successfully doing this for 18 years and know our clients inside out. We only take on properties we’re confident will get work – ones that match what productions are actively looking for. If we’re inviting you to become a location partner, it’s because we believe your property has strong potential. Booking frequency varies by demand, but you’re in control and can accept or decline any request that comes your way.

We’ll pay you within 30 days of the shoot, directly into your bank account

Your property is fully protected by a comprehensive legal contract and insurance. If any damage occurs during the shoot, it will be noted during the final inspection and reported to us immediately. We’ll support you every step of the way to get everything rectified. The production company is responsible for all repairs or replacements to return your property to its original condition – you won’t be out of pocket.

Before issuing any contracts, we obtain and verify the client’s Public Liability Insurance (PLI). We ensure the coverage is appropriate for both the type of shoot and your specific location, so everyone is properly protected.

You’re welcome to stay in a room away from the filming area. However, since the client has paid to use your property, the crew will need space to work without interruption. You’ll need to be present to let the crew in at the start of the day and to conduct the final property inspection before they leave, but you’re free to go out during the shoot itself.

We don’t take any money off your fee – you keep 100% of what’s agreed. Instead, we charge the client directly for our services. This means our interests are completely aligned with yours.

Yes. We are General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) compliant and committed to safeguarding your personal information. Access to the personal information you provide as part of the registration process is strictly limited to the UKL team. If your registration leads to you becoming an official Location Partner, your property will be added to our online location library under a 4-digit reference code. Any clients who choose your location for a shoot are bound by our contracts to protect your personal information.

It’s really important that you take clear and relevant images of your property so that we can decide very quickly if we are the right location agency for you. The following guidelines are designed to help with this.

THE IMAGES WE NEED (please send a maximum of 10):

• 1 x external front of the property (including the garden and driveway)
• 1 x external rear of the property (including the garden)
• 1 x entrance / hallway
• 2 x kitchen (different angles)
• 1 x living room
• 1 x main bedroom
• 1 x main bathroom
• 2 x any other large or interesting rooms

GETTING THE BEST IMAGE – KEY POINTS TO FOLLOW:

• Take the photos on your phone (please avoid effects such as a fish-eye lens)
• The images need to be landscape
• Take photos during the day in natural light
• No cars, people or animals in the photos
• No close-up shots
• Stand as far back as you can to photograph as much of the room as possible
• It’s very important to photograph your property looking clean, tidy and presentable
• If you have a floor plan of your property, please send it to us, as this is a huge help to our clients when they’re looking at prospective locations to film or shoot
